Seamus O'Brien

Seamus O’Brien
Seamus has been principal here in Monaseed National School since January 2004.  Previous to that he was principal in Rathnew N.S in Co. Wicklow.  Seamus is married to Ann Marie and they have two sons and one daughter.  Seamus lives in Gorey and one of his passions is GAA.  He is an active member of Craanford Fr O’Regans GAA club and last year under his guidance U12 boys managed to bring home two county titles and Monaseed National School managed to bring home a further there.

Patricia O’Neill

Patricia O’Neill (Roberts) B.Ed  H.Dip.  Native of County Wexford.  Residing near Ferns.  Mother of 3 teenage sons.  Began teaching in Monased National School in January 1985.  Has taught combination of classes from 1st – 6th.  Learning resource teacher from September ’99 to ’01 responsible for 5 schools. Deputy principal in Monaseed from ’02 to date.

Charlotte Sinnott

Charlotte began teaching in Monaseed N.S. in September 2008.  She newly qualified from Trinity College, Carmarthen, Wales (PCGE).  Charlotte is originally a past pupil in Monaseed National School and her hobbies include GAA, especially camogie and horse riding.

Elizabeth O’Connor

Elizabeth O’Connor has been teaching in Monaseed National School for the past 5 years.  She studied at University College Dublin (B.A.) and University of Durham (PGCE). She is from Kilmuckridge and before teaching in Monaseed taught in the Canary Islands.

Brid Lyons

Brid Lyons
Brid joined the staff in 2004 after taking a career break to study art – her passion. She is the learning support teacher and initially covered five schools but is now full time in Monaseed.  Brid has two teenagers – one who has just started art college.  Brid paints in her spare time and usually has an exhibition every year.  You can see her work on her website www.bridlyons.com
